What Now, Bubbles?

Look where we found Bubbles today! Underneath our Christmas Tree with his face in a bag of marshmallows. What a silly Elf. 

He also put 2 marshmallows on everybody's desk, so the Kinders all got a sweet treat this morning!!!

One of our Kinders wrote Bubbles a little note with a picture, and he left it under the tree. And... Bubbles responded! Take a look: 

Thank You, Santa

As you probably heard...

Yesterday one of the Kinders accidentally touched our elf, Bubbles. 

And the rule is: 

When an Elf on the Shelf is touched, he/she loses all his magic and cannot fly back to the North Pole anymore! 

So, yesterday I wrote a letter to Santa on behalf of the Kinders and this is how he responded:

Look how Bubbles was found today! Hanging from one of the wooded clothespins! I noticed he has some magic dust on his hat! Santa gave him more magic so he can keep flying back and forth between the North Pole and our classroom. 

But... as Santa said in his letter, we cannot touch him again or else he won't EVER get his magic back!

Elf in the Cozy Corner?

Today our Elf, Bubbles, was in the Cozy Corner hanging out with our feeling buddies! 

He must have needed to take some belly breaths! He's hanging out with our feeling buddy, "Happy," in the Cozy Corner! Those two make a great pair of friends! They both look so happy!!

I wonder where Bubbles will be on Monday! 

Bubbles and Sequins?

Yesterday we came to school to find Bubbles hanging from the Kinders' behaviour charts! He took glue from somebody's desk and glued 2 sequins to each behaviour chart. 

Once a behaviour chart is filled, that child gets to choose a prize!

Meet Bubbles - our Elf on the Shelf

Yesterday we chose a name for our Elf on the Shelf! 

The Kinders (who wanted to) could tell me a name they wanted for our Elf. Then, we voted on what names we liked the best. The green numbers are our votes. 

After we narrowed it down, these were our top names:

As you can see, Bubbles won with 7 votes!!
