Today we went to adoration in the library (at our school). We were so lucky to have the Myriam Sisters join us! Our Administrative Staff decorated the library so beautifully.
They sang with us, prayed with us, and taught us about Jesus. They even read us a story from the bible: The story of Mary and Joseph where Angel Gabriel appeared to them. One of the Myriam Sisters even dressed up as an angel to teach us about what Angel Gabriel said to Mary.
We learned that adoration is a time where we can talk, pray or sing to Jesus. Adoration is a sign of devotion to Jesus Christ.

Then, the Myriam Sisters gave all the Kinders a little photo card of something they could pray for. The Kinders went up two at a time to share what card they were given. They placed it in the basket and then blew Jesus a kiss.
The beautiful gold vessel (see below) is called the Monstrance. This is what holds the host (the body of Christ).
